I love writing, nothing gives me more pleasure than putting written words onto paper and then reading them to myself, getting lost in a story, having conversation with my characters and finding myself in one of my locations, living as my characters would, feeling all of the feelings that they go through.

Writing is a little like watching a movie I think. It allows you to let go of all your inhibitions and become enraptured in a story and emotions that you wouldn’t feeling without the movie.

You can have a romance with the perfect person, a grand adventure, solve a national mystery, fame, fortune, and it’s all yours to keep inside you mind once it’s over, so that if you ever need those feelings again, their right there in the pages of your story, your pride and joy.

A little piece of your heart to satisfy that longing we all feel inside us.
